Review by hotel critic
Nestled in the tranquil Middenbeemster, Brasa offers an attractive proposition for both luxury lovers and budget-conscious travelers. The beautifully renovated building exudes a blend of modern design and comfort. My room was not only stylish but equipped with essential conveniences like tea and coffee facilities, ensuring I felt at home. The soundproofed walls also made for a peaceful stay that I truly appreciated after a busy day exploring the region. The staff were pleasantly attentive, contributing to a warm atmosphere that added to the overall experience. Dining was a highlight, with a diverse a la carte menu at the adjacent restaurant that catered to our group of eight seamlessly. What impressed me most is the hotel's accessibility to Amsterdam, with bus 305 whisking you to the city center every 30 minutes while being just a short walk from the stop. The 15 EUR breakfast offered a solid range of options, enhancing the overall value in comparison to standard Amsterdam hotel prices. All things considered, Brasa strikes a good balance between comfort and cost. It's an ideal choice for art and design enthusiasts looking for a quiet retreat outside the bustling city, making it a smart option for savvy travelers.
